Message from the CEO
We’ve had a busy summer and fall here at DVMAX with work continuing on the release of DVMAX Practice v7.5. Included in v7.5 is the new DVMAXLink software that provides greater DICOM integration and improved interfacing with lab equipment.
Our Technical Support staff has implemented a new phone queue system that will improve the user phone experience. We also have a new director of sales and marketing who will be supporting our account management team and their programs.
We encourage you to take some time out of your day to examine the new features or to talk to one of our account managers who will be happy to discuss how you can get even more value and benefit out of your DVMAX Veterinary Practice Management Software.
We will have staff at a number of upcoming conferences. Please review our conference schedule online to see where we’ll be. We hope you have a productive December as we move into the holiday season.

New Automated Phone Queue
DVMAX Technical Support started using a New Automated Queue System on Wednesday, November 16th. This new system puts you in touch with Tech Support even faster than before.
When you call our technical support line, you will be placed “in line” for the next available technical support agent. Our knowledgeable staff will now greet you, eliminating the callbacks and the impersonal answering service. The transition to this new service should be seamless but keep in mind that when you call, our options have changed, and that you may be on hold for a short period after calling in.
Customers have asked for a phone queue over the years and we are happy to install a system that provides faster access to quality support.

DVMAX Anywhere App Is Now Compatible with iOS5
We are pleased to announce that an update is available which makes the DVMAX Anywhere App compatible with iOS5. Now you can use the latest iPhones and iPads with this popular scheduling and patient review App.
To obtain this update, follow the standard upgrade steps for your DVMAX Server, which can be found with the links below. The update is only necessary if you need your DVMAX Anywhere App to work on iOS 5. There are no additional features or functionalities included in this bundle. Note: The DVMAX Anywhere App does not need to be upgraded; only the DVMAX Server requires upgrading.
The DVMAX Anywhere App Can:
• Manage your time by getting a complete listing of your appointments
• Search for appointments for any day or date range
• View medical histories for patients scheduled for appointments
• Review Client contact information for any scheduled appointments
• Search for patient medical histories while away from the office

DVMAX Practice v7.5
DVMAX Practice v7.5 is currently in Beta testing and will be released shortly. While most of the changes in v7.5 were completed on the back-end of the software, there are a number of new features that will benefit the everyday user. To start, the back-end changes have improved the performance of the software, increasing the speed of a number of common tasks. The new DVMAXLink software will bring smoother, faster integration between DVMAX and lab diagnostic equipment, including DICOM imaging technologies. With the new DVMAXSync, the replication functionality used in remote processing and MPA has been completely revised. The new Sync feature will give you simple, “one-click” access to replication, while making the data processing noticeably faster. Lastly, DVMAX v7.5 will be certified for Macintosh OS X Lion.

New Sales Manager
DVMAX is pleased to announce the appointment of Debbie Corll as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Debbie has 22 years of experience in veterinary pharmaceutical sales and over 12 years in sales management. During her career, Debbie has built a strong knowledge of the veterinary industry and the key products and services of the veterinary market. Debbie is excited to move her skills to the software industry and is looking forward to working with all our DVMAX customers. We look forward to a successful 2012 with Debbie heading our sales and marketing team!

Year End Documentation
With 2012 fast approaching, the technical support department has prepared a number of reports to aid your year-end preparations. These include an Inventory Value report, Accounts Receivable report, Year End Income Summary/Detailed Sales Report, Average Invoices per Doctor report and a Sales Tax Charged Out report.
