Features and Upgrades
DVMAX Practice 7.5 offers a number of great new features and a noticeable improvement in performance. The new 7.5 features aid remote veterinarians, improve boarding functions and allows for greater communications
with other devices. The back-end changes have improved the overall performance of the software, increasing the speed of a number of common tasks. Between the new features and increased performance, DVMAX Practice 7.5 will provide noticeable benefits to your practice and to the services you can offer your clients and patients. Some of the key features and upgrades include:

Boarding:
Boarding has been totally revamped and includes a redesigned, web-enabled interface and a host of new features such as allowing multiple animals in a cage, the ability to search for open cages and a new "check in" feature when patients arrive.

Faster Processing:
DVMAX is now up to three times faster in some areas. We now provide support for multiple processors, allowing greater processing speeds for practices that need to manage a very large number of records.

"One-Click" Synchronization:
DVMAXSync allows the remote veterinarian to update patient records with "one click". This new synchronization feature automatically updates records changed in the field with your main server. DVMAXSync's "one click" process allows satellite clinics, remote veterinarians and equine specialists working away from their clinic to synchronize records easily, quickly and confidently. DVMAXSync replaces Remote Processing in DVMAX.

Batch Finish Remote Invoices:
DVMAX now lets you batch process unfinished invoices created in the field by remote workstations. Again, the "one click" process ensures that all invoices are up-to-date in the main practice.

DVMAXLink and DICOM Viewing:
The new DVMAXLink software brings smoother, faster integration between DVMAX and lab diagnostic equipment, including DICOM imaging technologies.

Improved Label Printing:
DVMAX now provides greater flexibility with label printing. A new Serial to Ethernet setup means Dymo label printers no longer have to be attached to the local workstation.

Automated Image Uploading of All File Types:
DVMAX's auto-import feature automatically moves images and other file types (such as .xls, .doc, .txt and more) from a specified folder to the appropriate patient record.

Improved Credit Card Processing:
Many improvements and upgrades have been made in the DVMAX Credit Card processing feature. These improvements will help speed processing.

Disconnect Your Lab Instruments:
DVMAX now provides the ability to disconnect your lab instruments from your terminals using a serial-ethernet box. Now you can untether your lab equipment from main terminals and locate them in your clinic wherever it is most convenient.

Digicare and DVMAX:
DVMAX now supports and is able to integrate Digicare Animal health systems including the LifeWindow 6000 series, LifeWindow Lite series and CentralVue 4 and 9 channels.

Help:
Help is now accessed through our web-based Help system that includes a full document resource and user forums.

Macintosh OS X Lion:
DVMAX v7.5 is certified for Macintosh OS X Lion.
